    • When you retured to the Warmage academy, the difficulty is now Elite which enemies are at Level 45-48. Normal is 6-9. Maybe the enemies are too much to handle.

This happens when you finished the campaign.

To unlock a new item on the shop or weapon to craft, you must reach a certain level or a milestone. I've read that the Tier 100 weapon can only be crafted when you are Level 70.

Try the eternal battle. It might unlock new equipment. that happened to me.

  • Anybody knows (especially DaphneDiane - you seem pretty wise around DH4 questions) how the leaderboard in blood match arena is calculated? Interested in the high zone - how the program differentiates between those who reached the blood cap?

I came out after reaching in a very intresting place, don't want to ruin it, but interested how that became possible...

  • If you haven't been playing lately you should get the new update. It opens new areas and other than the weekend lag is pretty cool. I think you might enjoy it.

  • I have been plagued with some of my attempts at merging two like charms causing a glitch where the resulting higher level charm is broken. By broken I mean I cannot merge it with another like charm nor can I add it to any item slot in any equipment in my inventory. The only thing I can do with it it sell it, for ZERO gold! Not that it would be worth much gold anyways but it's worth noting. Has anyone else seen this glitch before, or better yet know how to avoid it from happening again?

  • Hi!  I have a question.  Is there a limit to the level we can reach?  My Battleworn character has reached Level 100 and even when the XP bar becomes full,  my level remains at 100.  What can be done to fix this? Thanks.

  • Wait...why isn't this the Wiki about the whole DH series? This doesn't make sense.

Gameloft previously made DH1, DH2, DH: Alliance for the Mac (and I think other platforms), DH3, and THEN DH4. There's not even a reference to Gothicus which is told of in all 4 games before this one..... meaning there's more than enough information that players would find since various parts of the conflict and storylines are told of in the games.

  • First of all thanks for all the info you post/edit, it's really helpful.

I am leveling up a sentinel, which is level 30 at the moment. I already have a level 100 blademaster, but as it was my first charater I didn't think too much about skill points distribution an now the gem cost of a respec is too high. I don't want that to happen again with this second char, so it would be great if you could help me.

If you had a level 100 sentinel and 100 skill points to use, how would you use them?

    • I would definitely max Eagle Eye, Blood Steal, and Haste. Eagle Eye is the best for damage, Blood Steal for defense, and Haste for both. Haste increases both attack speed AND movement speed, when maxed you can pretty much keep haste up all the time.

Radiant flare is a PVP skill, 1 pt it in does enough. Multi-shot or quick shot is your take big thing down shot... though you have to be careful about burning mana with it. Either will do and I find that only 1 pt is enough. I've maxed out frost arrows on my character as it increases damage and pretty much all other sentinel skills scale with damage so pt for pt was a better spot than putting them into active skills.

I've heard a lot of people praise Bear Trap, though I don't use it myself. If I kill stuff in 1 hit, why worry about laying traps? I've tried it a few times and it doesn't work for me. I do a high mobility archer build. I have a bunch of ghost charms, and try to stay ahead of the mobs, but at the higher level eternal battle the mobs move so fast that stopping to lay a trap might be stopping to long.

BTW If you win books of skill in the lottery you can get extra skill points, if you try for it you can have more than 100 skills to play with.

BTW, If you think about reseting your skills and the cost is greater than a few hundred gems, you might actually be better cycling the silver lottery until the book of skill shows up in the second spot or cycling the gold lottery until the book of skill shows up in the first and the book of knowledge in the 4th.

For my character it would cost 1080 gems to reset my skill points. If instead I played the gold lottery for 1050 gems and made sure the skill books were up. I would have at least 6 extra skill points, and possibly though unlikely up to 15. If instead I played the silver I would likely get nearly 12 extra skill points for 1020 gems. ( Or I as I actually did, I could make sure every time I play the bronze the skill book was up and over time I would continue to get extra skill points. )

    • Definitely max out Eagle Eye. That will give you 100% chance of a critical hit. Then load up on Agility Charms (For example, maxed out Eagle Eye plus just one Level 10 Charm of Agility = double damage on every shot; two level 10 charms = triple damage, etc. )

I maxed out Bloodsteal and Haste for the reasons mentioned by Daphne. I also maxed out Arrow Barrage, which is great for battling groups of enemies and bosses, especially when you're getting swarmed.
